Carbonatites

Carbonatite is an igneous rock composed of at least 50% carbonate minerals1. Most carbonatite occurrences are intrusive rocks but some are volcanic. This is a deviation from a common practice in geology. Gabbro and basalt, granite and rhyolite, and many other such pairs are compositionally equivalent but named differently because the former is intrusive and the latter volcanic.
